Popdex Fees

Popdex charges a 1% fee for each swap and Buzz Guard deposit. All fees are in USDC.

For a buy, Popdex calculates the fee from the full USDC input. Popdex deducts the fee before it uses the remaining amount for the swap. For a sell, Popdex calculates the fee from the full USDC output. Popdex withholds the fee before it sends the remaining USDC to the user.

For a Buzz Guard deposit, Popdex calculates the fee from the full deposit. Popdex sends the fee to its treasury.

The swap fee does not change with trade direction, Buzz, price, order size, or reset time.

Popdex calculates each fee in microUSDC, the smallest USDC unit. If a calculation includes part of one microUSDC, Popdex rounds the fee up to the next microUSDC. This rounding can make the effective fee for a small swap or deposit more than 1%.
