Create a token on Popdex and let users buy and sell it with USDC. Each token has a fixed supply of one billion tokens.

You need SOL in your wallet to pay for token creation and network fees. SOL for token creation is mandatory.

An initial purchase is optional. If you want to buy tokens during creation, you need USDC.

To create a token:

1. Select Create Token.
2. Connect your wallet or sign in.
3. Enter the token name and ticker.
4. Add an image, description and any links.
5. Enter an initial purchase amount, or continue without a purchase.
6. Approve the transaction in your wallet.

Check all details before approval. After creation, you cannot change the name, ticker, image, description or links. The wallet that creates the token is the permanent reward recipient.

Creation costs vary with the token details, required account setup and network fees. Any initial purchase is separate from these costs.

After launch, users can trade your token. Token names and tickers are not unique. Share your token’s contract address so users can identify it.
